Well you know you're a global powerhouse when the latest bruhaha is a friendly (we are Canadian after all) dispute over an island. Although most of the coverage seems to be either a bit of an after thought to being in jest, no one seems to be really discussing why it would be such an issue. The "stamped sized" island is smaller than PEI, and is really just a very large rock in the arctic. But, it rests on the continental shelf (or margin) which is a major source of nutrients for sea life, and also where we harvest practically all our ocean derived resources. That includes oil.

For reading week I zipped down to TO to spend time with my baby · saw the autoshow and am in luv with the Audi A6, A8 and the Acura TSX but was disappointed the new Honda Civic SiR was not there! · Had a Groucho's Gourmet Burger and tried six different cupcakes! · Got conpeito candy *___* and Panda and Koala cookies (influenced by a certain manga sugar-fiend ;__;) · spent time with Grandma · came back with a BOX of papaya o___o · taro ice cream = A+ · zomg the job hunt is underway @___@ · con plannings - thinking AN and Otakon.· saw OngBak.. cool fighting, but high pitched voices and duh storyline = gah!! · have new tunes to listen to ♥ and will share! · missed bonnie pink due to stupid midterm ;___;
